The Design Museum, located on Kensington High Street with beautiful views over Holland Park, is the world’s leading museum devoted to contemporary design and an inspiring setting for corporate and private events. The Helene and Johannes Huth Gallery, located on the second floor, is a versatile and contemporary 319sqm space offering exceptional flexibility. Its retractable wall system allows the gallery to be divided for both large and more intimate events, while blank white walls provide the perfect canvas for bespoke branding and production. Available for daytime and evening hire, the gallery can accommodate up to 220 guests standing, 200 for dinner or theatre-style, and 100 classroom-style, making it particularly well suited to product launches, conferences, receptions, banquets, brand activations and pop-up exhibitions.

At the heart of the museum, the Atrium is a dramatic triple-height space with views of the building’s striking hyperbolic paraboloid roof. Ideal for evening drinks receptions, product launches and seated dinners, the Atrium can be used across multiple levels to create events of varying scale. The ground floor accommodates 270 guests standing or 150 seated, while use of all levels increases capacity to 750 standing or 400 for dinner, offering an impressive setting for larger-scale events.

The Bakala Auditorium is a dedicated 202-seat theatre-style space equipped with state-of-the-art AV facilities. Designed for conferences, screenings, presentations, lectures, product launches and award ceremonies, it can also be combined with the Atrium for an evening reception, allowing guests to move seamlessly from formal content into networking and hospitality.
