Venue Rules & Conditions

To help protect the RAF Museum's nationally important collection and ensure the safety of all guests, we kindly ask that the following venue rules are observed:

No naked flames are permitted anywhere within the Museum, including candles, tea lights and pyrotechnics.
No helium balloons are permitted within the venue.
No gas cylinders or gas-powered equipment of any kind may be brought on site without prior written approval.
Please do not touch the aircraft or Museum collection. All exhibits are historic artefacts and must remain protected at all times.
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated external smoking areas.
Nothing may be attached to aircraft, display cases, walls or Museum exhibits without prior approval.
Confetti, glitter, rice, petals and similar decorative materials are not permitted, as they pose a risk to the collection and increase cleaning requirements.
All suppliers and contractors must report to the Museum Events Team on arrival and comply with site health and safety procedures.
