Tewinbury is a riverside farm and hotel in Hertfordshire, 30 minutes from London. Tewinbury has been the Williams family home, our home, since 1931. As stewards of the estate, our family and team of proud farmers and hosts have one simple aim: to nurture our land and guests, creating an environment where both thrive together.

With event spaces for 5 – 500 indoors and 1500 outdoors, plus 53 rustic bedrooms and plenty of onsite activities, Tewinbury is the perfect place to stay, work, feast, switch on/off, move, and celebrate across 700 acres of nature.

Tewinbury has everything from simple meeting spaces with modern conveniences, to rustic outdoor dining experiences at Roots, and even a Festival Site equipped with a full stage, bar & extensive grounds. Its accommodation demonstrates a rustic, upscale aesthetic with suites available across the site including riverside and lakeside lodges, huts, family rooms and four-poster suites.

Within the property portfolio is also the recently-acquired Hertford House, which is located 10 minutes from Tewinbury in central Hertford, and benefits from its own pub, restaurant, bedrooms and underground event space.

Finally, Tewinbury is expanding its leisure facilities in 2026 by becoming the first franchise of Tom Kemp’s ‘Farm Fitness’, which was recently awarded the title of ‘Best Gym in the World’ by Men’s Health. Further additions to Tewinbury’s leisure offer are on the horizon. Keep an eye out!
