CONFIRMATION - The event is considered definite upon receipt of the following:
• Signed Contract
• Initial 50% Deposit
CHOTTO MATTE reserves the right to release the space to other clients if the confirmation (signed contract and deposit payment) is not returned by the signed contract due date
PAYMENTS -
• 50 % Initial Deposit due by signature of the contract
• 50 % Remaining balance 30 days prior to the event date
• Any additional expenses will be due the day of the event (any additional fees or extra expenses)
Payment can be made by cash BACS or credit card. In the event that the final invoice is not paid in accordance with the contract, the CLIENT assumes all responsibility for legal costs, interest, and/or other collection fees related to obtaining the final payment. The event bill can be split equally between a maximum of (2) credit cards per event.
BACS payments must have been received by our accounts team on or before the due payment as per your signed contract. Proof of remittance will NOT be accepted.
Failure to meet these deadlines will require an alternative, approved payment method.
CANCELLATION PROCEDURE - All cancellations need to be received in writing from the client to the Event Manager email only. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
All funds paid will be retained in the case of a cancellation.
• If an event is cancelled within 30 days of the event date, the client is liable for payment of all Charges in full.
"Charges” includes “FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM (VAT inclusive)”.
FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM – All event bookings have a Food and Beverage Minimum which needs to be met, all food and beverage items are VAT Inclusive. The Food and Beverage Minimum may not be met by ordering food or beverage to-go or any other rentals/decor. The Food and Beverage Minimum (“F&B Min.”) is the amount listed as “F&B Minimum” plus applicable fees. If the F&B Min. is not reached, the remaining balance will be added to the final bill as an “Unmet Minimum “
FEES
These fees will be added to all food and beverage charges including but not limited to corkage, cake fees, decor rentals, unmet minimums and DJ rentals.
