Cancellation policy

12, CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL
The Company may cancel the booking, with no refund due, under the following circumstances:
(i) The Company or any part of it is closed due to circumstances outside its control (excluding Covid – see below, 24);
(i) If The Client becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership;
(ii) If The Client is more than 14 days in arrears with any payments to The Company;
(iii) To avoid a breach of these conditions:
In the event of cancellation by The Company under section 12(i) only, all monies paid by The Client will be returned within 7
days of notification (excluding when hotel is closed in which case it will be within 7 days of hotel reopening).
13, CANCELLATIONS –
All cancellations must be in writing from the Client and will only be considered fully cancelled when written confirmation is
received back to the Client from the Company. Cancellations are considered full cancellation of event or reduction in
numbers for all events accommodation and conferences. Cancellations will be charged on the amount quoted to The
Client and will include service and VAT at the current rate.
13a, CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT – PRIVATE BOOKINGS - Weddings/Dinner Dances/Functions/Charity and Private Events
(i) Cancellations over 9 months in advance - deposit forfeited.
(ii) Cancellations between 6 months and 9 months - 50% of the remaining balance;
(iii) Cancellations between less than 6 months advance – 100% of total anticipated charges;
(iv) All bookings are non-transferable. Monies paid cannot be transferred to another date or event.
(v) Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable at any time.
13b, CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT- CORPORATE CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS
(i) Cancellations over 6 month in advance - deposit forfeited.
(ii) Cancellation between 6 to 3 months prior to the event – 25% of total anticipated charges.
(iii) Cancellation between 3 months to 29 days prior to the event – 50% of total anticipated charges.
(iv) Cancellation up to 28 days prior to the event – 100% of total anticipated charges.
(v) All bookings are non-transferable. Monies paid cannot be transferred to another date or event.
(vi) Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable at any time.
13c, CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT – GROUP / TOUR BOOKINGS
Any cancellations taken less than 28 days prior to the date of arrival, will be charged at the full balance of the stay.
For group bookings (10 people or more) please see Terms and Conditions no.4
For Accommodation Allotments The Company is under no obligation to inform The Client when releasing all bedrooms held
that are not reserved and guaranteed by the schedule release date which is normally 8 weeks prior. The Company reserves
the right to amend schedule release dates to 2 or 3 months prior depending on the number of bedrooms held.
